The event
The Young Water Professionals (YWP) Conference offers professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities, to ensure YWP have the skills and knowledge to manage and address future global and regional water issues.
The conference format will be similar to earlier YWP conferences hosted around the world with poster presentations as well as platform presentations with time available for audience discussions and sessions with guest speakers.
An important part of the conference is also the opportunity for the participants to make contacts with delegates. These networking connections could be of most importance later in the coming career.
There is no easy and fast definition of an YWP, but as a guideline an YWP may be under 35 years of age or with less than 10 years experience in the water sector.
